Gladys Magut

Gladys, a shopkeeper in Nandi, Kenya, became a SunnyMoney solar light agent in March 2015. “We are a farmers co-operative society situated in the flower farms where workers have come together to put their savings. So, we purchase the lights on their behalf and they pay in instalments. One of the SunnyMoney team came to me and introduced themselves and since here most of the people do not have electricity we decided to buy. I always walk around during my free time telling people about the lights and the benefits one gains from the lights. When I visit people in their homes and see they have no electricity and they are using either kerosene or candles, I always know this is a potential customer so I tell them about the lights.”
